LVT Wood Planks

LVT wood planks recreate the warmth and character of natural timber with remarkably realistic grain, texture and colour variation. Choose from pale Scandinavian-style oaks and contemporary washed finishes through to rich, traditional woods with deeper tones and more pronounced grain.

Plank sizes and laying direction can also make a significant difference to the finished room, helping you create anything from a clean contemporary look to the character of a traditional timber floor.

Unlike natural wood, LVT is easy to maintain and highly practical for everyday family life, making wood-effect flooring possible in busy areas such as kitchens, hallways and open-plan living spaces.

LVT Herringbone & Parquet

Herringbone and parquet-style LVT combines one of flooring’s most enduring patterns with the practicality of modern luxury vinyl. Smaller wood-effect planks are arranged to create a distinctive geometric floor that can work equally well in a period property or contemporary home.

The choice of wood tone can completely change its character. Pale oak creates a lighter, more understated appearance, while warmer and darker woods emphasise the pattern and produce a more traditional look.

It’s an excellent way to make the floor an integral part of your room design, particularly in hallways, kitchens, dining rooms and larger open-plan living spaces.

LVT Stone & Tile

Stone and tile-effect LVT gives you the character of natural materials without many of the practical compromises associated with a traditional hard floor. Designs inspired by limestone, slate, concrete, marble and ceramic tiles provide options for both classic and contemporary interiors.

Realistic colour variation, surface texture and detailing help reproduce the appearance of the original material, while LVT provides a warmer, more comfortable surface underfoot.

It can be particularly effective in kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and open-plan living areas, whether you’re looking for a subtle neutral floor that blends into the room or a stronger stone design that becomes a feature in its own right.

LVT Borders & Inlays

Borders and inlays allow you to take an LVT installation beyond a standard floor and introduce detailing that is tailored to the room.

A contrasting border can frame the perimeter of a space, highlight an architectural feature or create a deliberate transition between different areas. More intricate combinations can introduce traditional or contemporary decorative details that make the floor an important part of the overall interior design.

The choice can range from subtle changes in colour or wood tone through to much more elaborate patterns. Our team can help you explore the possibilities and create a professionally fitted floor that works with the proportions and character of your room.

LVT Design Strips

Design strips are narrow pieces positioned between individual LVT planks or tiles to introduce definition, contrast and extra detail into the finished floor.

With stone and tile designs, a carefully chosen strip can recreate the appearance of a traditional grout line. Between wood planks it can provide a subtle contrast or become a deliberate decorative feature, depending on the colour and width selected.

They’re a relatively small detail that can make a surprisingly big difference to the overall appearance of an LVT installation, giving you greater control over how individual planks, tiles and laying patterns are defined within your room.

For the image, I’d use one of Amtico’s Feature Stripping examples. Amtico offers stripping specifically to create contrast, grout effects and definition between tiles and planks, with multiple widths available.

LVT Large Format

Large-format LVT uses oversized planks and tiles to create a cleaner, more expansive appearance with fewer joins across the finished floor. It’s particularly effective in larger kitchens, extensions and open-plan living spaces where the scale of the flooring can complement the proportions of the room.

Large wood planks emphasise the natural grain and character of timber designs, while oversized stone and concrete-effect tiles can produce a striking architectural finish.

The result is contemporary and uncluttered, while retaining all the everyday practicality that makes LVT such a popular choice for modern homes.

Amtico LVT

For more than 60 years, Amtico has been designing and manufacturing luxury vinyl flooring in Britain, combining distinctive design with exceptional quality and performance. Its Coventry manufacturing heritage continues today, with an extensive choice of realistic woods, stones and contemporary designs.

Amtico is particularly strong when you want to make more of the design itself. Alongside traditional planks and tiles you’ll find parquet, herringbone and statement laying patterns, together with borders, motifs and feature stripping that can create a genuinely individual floor.

Different collections offer different specifications and warranties, with premium ranges including Signature and Décor carrying a lifetime residential warranty.

Moduleo LVT

Moduleo combines highly realistic wood and stone designs with the comfort and practicality of modern LVT. Its floors are designed for everyday living, offering a warm, soft and quiet feel underfoot together with waterproof construction, scratch resistance and straightforward cleaning.

There’s plenty of design choice too, from classic wood planks and authentic stone effects to herringbone, creative patterns and extra-large tiles. Collections such as Roots and LayRed offer different installation options, while LayRed incorporates a rigid core and built-in underlay and is designed to work particularly well in renovation projects.

Moduleo manufactures its LVT in Belgium and places considerable emphasis on responsible production, recycled materials and recyclability.

Gerflor LVT

Gerflor offers a broad selection of LVT designed to combine realistic appearance with practical everyday performance. Its residential ranges include natural-looking wood, stone, mineral and contemporary finishes across a variety of plank and tile formats.

The Creation 30 collection is specifically designed for housing and includes 43 designs, with standard and XL planks alongside square and rectangular tiles. Gerflor uses ultra-realistic textures and an ultra-matt finish to help reproduce the character of the natural materials that inspire the designs.
